Dietary intake of vitamin E associated with lower risk of Alzheimer’s Disease. M Morris, JAMA, 287(24):3230-7, 2002

Details

In this study, 815 elderly people free from Alzheimer’s were followed for an average of 4 years. Their diet and health were monitored. Higher intake of vitamin E from food, but not from supplements, was associated with a lower risk of Alzheimer’s. This positive association did not hold among individuals with the genetic factor APOE4.
