Vitamin B6 and magnesium improve childhood autism in combination. J. Martineau et al, Biol Psychiatry. 20(5):467-78, 1985

Details

This study consists of four double-blind trials with 60 autistic children: Trial A--vitamin B6 plus magnesium; Trial B--vitamin B6 plus magnesium; Trial C--magnesium; and Trial D--vitamin B6. Behavioural improvement was observed with the combination of vitamin B6 and magnesium. This combination was also associated with significant improvements of both biochemical and electrophysiological measures. These changes were not observed when either vitamin B6 or magnesium was administered alone.
